When someone dials your phone number, it will ring in our system, and then can be directed any number of ways from there. Your phone number is the number one starting point for your entire call flow, so using that as a guideline you can begin to use all of our features.
To adjust where a number points, you will want to go to Services>Phone Numbers. Here you will see your phone numbers listed:
You can then click on each number to edit it, or hit the little Pencil on the right side of the screen. You will then see the following:
From here, the most important field is the Actions field. When you click the drop down you will see any extensions, ring groups, IVR Menus, or any other system call flow features that you have created. You can choose any one you would like your system to ring to. For example, if you choose a ring group, you can be sure that any extension added to that ring group will ring when your phone number is called.
